Tips On How to Choose a Delicious Snack That Will Not Break the Keto Diet

Keto snacks are great alternatives for feeding your hunger cravings when on a keto diet. I recommend these simple tips for the best keto snack when looking to stick to your keto meal plan;

•             Eat more protein foods; for instance, you can slice some bacon or cheese and top it with healthy fats from nuts.

•             Stick to low-carb veggies and blend them with high-fat sauce or sour creams.

•             Opt for fruits such as all kinds of berries with natural heavy creams.

Examples of Low or No Carb Snacks

From my keto diet plan, I have a few snacks to share that are low in carbs, including;

Bison is one of the best and most tasty keto-friendly snacks sourced from varying hoofed animals such as cattle. The nutrition content of bison per serving is; fat 6 g, carbs I g or below, proteins 17 g, calories 124, iron 13% of DV, zinc 35 % of DV, and vitamin B6 19%.

Keto energy bars are quick-fueling snacks that provide the body with needed energy in a short duration. Per serving, the nutrition includes; 15 g fat, 9 to 12 g fiber, 15 to 18 g fat, 3 g carbs, and 200 to 250 calories.

Baked Chickpea Chips

One of my favorite keto snacks for curbing my hunger sensations. It contains 16 g carbs, 140 calories, 3 g protein, and 17 g fiber per serving.
