POST-HOLIDAY BLUES

POST-HOLIDAY BLUES

Are you a victim of post-holiday blues, and do not know how to move on? I have a few coping tips you may find helpful;

Find a routine and maintain it

Think about how your day goes from morning to evening. Do you have a consistent schedule? I always tell my clients to increase their bodies working efficiency by sleeping and waking at the same time every day, be it a weekend or holiday. Have an exercise program and meals at a similar timing every day.

Practice self-care tips

Self-care is significant in enhancing one’s quality of life. It helps boost confidence and self-esteem, factors oriented for success. I recommend exercising, eating clean, and sleeping enough. I also advise people to do only what they can and practice gratitude.

Understand that it will not take forever

If you feel drained by the blues, and think they may not disappear, please be patient. Allow yourself some time to recover. Meanwhile, accept the feelings and get ready for anything that may arise. Start thinking of how to care for yourself to lessen the possible negative energy on your health. Remember that many people go through it, therefore, you are not alone, and it will come to pass.
