Although we all now know overeating compromises weight loss goals, going to bed hungry is also not a brilliant idea. Hunger pains prevent you from getting high-quality sleep, causing an imbalance in your hunger hormones (ghrelin and leptin). As a result, you will experience an extraordinary appetite, encouraging you to eat more in your waking life. This can easily jeopardize your weight loss goals.
