WHY EVERYONE IS HAVING LESS SEX THAN PRE-PANDEMIC

During the pandemic, most relationships are having less sex days per week a bigger percentage advocated for the stop against this deadly virus. There was no peaceful environment for sex, especially due to the challenging times and uncertainty. The infectious disease that had almost every source of no sure information kept people on toes; day and night. Most businesses broke down, schools and churches closed, people having to work from home, and lack of social gatherings. Can you associate any of these to a conducive sex environment?

The stress gets worse for people who gave birth following lockdown. It is overwhelming to get a nanny or other trusted caregiver to your baby because of the high hygiene standards required for your baby’s protection. Leaving the house and coming back home is a risk to your baby whose immunity is still low. Furthermore, many baby shops and products were closed resulting in possibly limited supply of babies’ basics like diapers and feeders. All these factors could be the reason most couples lack the peace of mind required for sex.

I believe that nutrition science is a wonderful helper both for the preventive improvement of health and adjunctive therapy in treatment. My goal is to help people improve their health and well-being without torturing themselves with unnecessary dietary restrictions. I am a supporter of a healthy lifestyle – I play sports, cycle, and swim in the lake all year round. With my work, I have been featured in Vice, Country Living, Harrods magazine, Daily Telegraph, Grazia, Women's Health, and other media outlets.
