Does it lead to an increase in productivity or is it just a gimmick?
In my opinion, the 4 day work week can significantly increase productivity in an organization or company. With more businesses aiming to enhance happiness, employee satisfaction, and mental health this strategy can effectively boost productivity which is attributed to the following factors; workers have a more flexible lifestyle, more free time to focus on other life goals, satisfaction with their jobs, loyal to the company, happier, reduced health issues hence they are more focused and less distracted when at work compared to those who work more days, boosting total productivity.
