BLEACHING

BLEACHING TREND

The brow-bleaching trend – how to do it, why it’s popular, ways to pull off the look

Brow-bleaching has become trendy because people want to lessen the contrast between their light hair and dark brows. It is also a remedy to smoothen brows’ appearance and acquire a young look.

The bleaching steps include;

Secure your hair

Avoid bleaching your stray hair by covering it with a headband to protect the face.

Clean your face

Use a facial cleanser to wash your face. Ensure to clear all the dirt and makeup for the bleach to work effectively.

Mix the bleaching product

Carefully follow the instructions on the manual to get the best paste. It should be medium thick and apply using a cotton swab.

Test

Use a test patch by applying some paste on the elbow. If there is a reaction after a few minutes, then it is not safe for application. Consider changing.

If no reaction, go ahead to apply

Use the applicator to apply the bleach on your brows and set a timer to avoid over bleaching.

Wash your face

Start by removing the bleach before washing your face with clean water to remove any traces.

Ways to pull off the look

I recommend the ways below;

  • Apply the right color, such as, a lighter shade compared to your hair.
  • Make the process quick because exceeding the recommended time can cause reddish or orange tint.
  • Do not shape your brows as it may cause irritation. Perhaps wait for a few hours after bleaching and shape using tweezers.
