BODY NEUTRALITY

BODY NEUTRALITY WITH CLIENTS

Body neutrality refers to embracing how your body is and its function, instead of the physical appearance. It can be achieved in the following ways;

Use less time to prepare

Taking too much time in the mirror can make you fixate your flaws. But spending less time in front of the mirror looking at yourself lessens chances of looking into your body weaknesses.I even recommend covering up your mirror.

Comfortable outfits only

Tight-fitting clothes maybe a route to body shame. Why not wear something fitting comfortably for your confidence?

How to use it to inform your workouts

Focus on exercises you are comfortable with

Moving your body should not be dutiful. It is supposed to feel great. To achieve positivity in your fitness journey, do what the body likes. It could be jogging or playing a sport and not hitting the gym.

Always listen to your body

Neutrality focuses on what you do and how it feels at that time. Never force yourself to do a marathon for weight loss if the body does not cooperate. Think of how your body feels when fatigued, especially when exercising, and determine what to do. You can stop what you are doing or change it.

Be patient

Transforming from a negative habit to a more neutral section needs some time. It calls for patience. I usually tell my clients to allow themselves time for that shift.

The work of a family doctor includes a wide range of clinical diversity, which requires extensive knowledge and erudition from a specialist. However, I believe that the most important thing for a family doctor is to be human because the cooperation and understanding between the doctor and the patient are crucial in ensuring successful health care. On my days off, I love being in nature. Since childhood, I have been passionate about playing chess and tennis. Whenever I have time off, I enjoy traveling around the world.
