DO OPPOSITES REALLY ATTRACT

DO OPPOSITES REALLY ATTRACT?

1. Do opposites attract in dating? Yes or no?

No

2. There’s been substantial research to show that we look for people who are more like us. Do you think that’s true for most people? Why or why not?

The best opposites that attract are magnetic poles. However, what connects people is not ‘opposites’, but their characters, biological cues, and similarities.

 3. What traits are most important to share with a partner? And in what cases might it actually be a good thing where you’re opposites?

Similarities in religion, intelligence, and education level are traits that give foundation to a healthy union. Perhaps an outgoing partner can marry an introverted type. But it does not mean opposites attract. It implies indulging with traits that complement each other.
