DOING THIS EVERY DAY RAISES YOUR ALZHEIMER’S RISK

I strongly advise you to avoid these unhealthy habits as they increase your risk of Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Poor sleep

From my studies, I can conclude that you are more likely to develop dementia or Alzheimer’s disease if you have poor sleeping habits and routines. Insufficient sleep or trouble sleeping can trigger drowsiness, depression, lack of focus, concentration, and poor memory, all contributing to these illnesses.

Isolating Yourself

Spending more time alone or being socially isolated can cause a decline in cognitive function. You are at higher risk of having Alzheimer’s if you lack social relations as the brain faces more stress, negative thoughts, depression, and less happiness.

Smoking

Frequent smoking can significantly destroy your blood vessels, cause brain shrinking, and speed up memory loss, heightening Alzheimer’s and dementia risks.

Other habits include

  • Overeating
  • Consuming unhealthy junky foods
  • Eating foods or drinks high in sugars and fats
  • Lack of enough exposure to the sun
  • Head injuries
  • Consuming excess salt or sodium
