EYEBROW FILLING

EYEBROW FILLING TIPS FOR BEGINNERS?

What are the most important pieces of advice you could give a makeup beginner when it comes to filling in eyebrows?

Right product choice

Some people have thin brows, whereas others thick and bushy. If your hair growth is thin, I suggest enhancing them more using an eyebrow powder or pencil to highlight them. People with bushy hair should opt for brown gel to tame the hairs’ look.

Choose the right shade

What is your eyebrow color and look? It is best to consult the seller or makeup artist to advice on the most ideal gel, powder, or pencil for your brows.

Pluck stray hair

I recommend tweezing any stray hairs for a perfect look. But please do not overdo it.

What step-by-step process would you recommend from your experience?

  • Place the pencil at the side of the right nose, to help identify the ideal starting point.
  • From the nose, angle the pencil towards that eye’s corner, around 45 degrees, marking the endpoint.
  • Use a spoolie brush to notice any uneven or stray hairs remaining.
  • Stroke the hairs to identify sparsely filled places and use your product to fill the spaces. Make them lighter for great looks.
  • Brush the hairs to distribute them evenly without overly filling the end points.
  • Get the spoolie again and brush for smoothening any harsh application.
  • Do the same on the left eye.
