FACE SWEAT

FACE SWEAT From a medical perspective, is there anything people can do to minimize face sweat

The most effective way of lowering face sweat is by applying antiperspirants. Antiperspirants are packed with sodium or aluminum chloride salts that can easily minimize sweating by forming a physical plug which prevents excessive sweating on the skin.

Getting a botox or botulinium injection can also help reduce sweating on the face. Botox contains properties that lower the functioning of the sweat glands eventually curbing excessive sweating on the face and other body parts.

Taking anticholinergic drugs can also be used to deactivate the sweat glands which lowers sweating but can cause unintended negative effects like fats heart rates, problems when urinating and blurred eye sight.

For those with severe facial sweating taking a surgery may be done to scrape the active sweat glands to decrease their efficiency.

Limiting your intake of spicy foods, caffeine or alcohol can lower the heat generated by the body after consuming these foods reducing face sweat.

From a skincare perspective, is there anything someone can do to minimize face sweat?

Use light moisturizing or hydrating formulas such as gels, this helps increase the hydration levels while lowering skin density which tends to increase sweating.

Apply tea tree oil which is rich in anti-inflammatory properties that significantly prevents excess sweating with its astringent properties as it lessens the activeness of the sweat glands.

How can someone tweak their makeup routine in summer if they’re prone to face sweat?

I suggest you include you apply astringent with tannic or salicylic acid ingredients after cleansing or wash your face on the temples, pores and forehead hairline twice daily to lower your sweating throughout the day.

Are there any other ways I’m not thinking of that people can minimize face sweat? Why is this method effective?

I recommend you reduce your room temperature using fans or air conditioners. This helps the face stay cool at all times lowering sweat generally.

Clean or wash your face in the morning, evening or after intense physical activities to keep the pores open, skin and minimize sweating.

Place some ice on the face to impair efficiency and activeness of the sweat glands which helps reduce facial sweating.

The work of a family doctor includes a wide range of clinical diversity, which requires extensive knowledge and erudition from a specialist. However, I believe that the most important thing for a family doctor is to be human because the cooperation and understanding between the doctor and the patient are crucial in ensuring successful health care. On my days off, I love being in nature. Since childhood, I have been passionate about playing chess and tennis. Whenever I have time off, I enjoy traveling around the world.
