Favourite Sex Toy

Favourite Sex Toy

I follow Peaches and Screams on Facebook (mostly for the filthy chat to be honest!) and this morning they’ve been asking what everyone’s favourite sex toy is.

That got me thinking. What would I class as a favourite? The one I’ve had the longest? The one I go back to most often? Or the one that gives me the most incredible orgasms? By no means is my toybox overflowing, but becoming recently single has definitely meant that some new items have been added this year.

My very first sex toy was purchased way back in the mists of time when I was 18 and I ventured into my very first sex shop; a dingy, local affair that I believe used to be next to a chip shop. It was a generic brand rampant rabbit that buzzed mildly for about 20 minutes then died forever. Sounds unappealing right? Well actually I owe a lot to that first sex toy. Had I not been so utterly disappointed with it, I probably never would have spent those subsequent two weeks (I did take breaks to eat, bathe, go to college etc) masturbating furiously in the hopes that I would discover the key to my orgasm. And discover the key I did. I’m not going to treat/repulse anyone with the details of such but I learned what does and what doesn’t do it for me and far from putting me off the idea of toys, that first rubbish rabbit steered me towards an adulthood of experimentation and a pretty pleasing sex life.

In fact, the more I think about it, the more vanilla I realise my tastes run. Whips and chains are great (and do excite me) but most of the time I just can’t be arsed with all the hoo-hah. So it’s with that that I hereby crown my favourite sex toy as the humble bullet vibe. In fact, that should have been my answer straight away as I’ve had 4 of these babies over the years. All from Rocks Off. Don’t worry if you’re thinking of buying one, they don’t break easily or anything but if you have a tendency to put things down then forget where they are like I do, then you’ll find yourself buying more than one. Which accounts for 2 I know, but #3 was involved in an embarrassing incident at an airport (Tulisa has nothing on me) and #4 is still going strong.

For something so simple and very affordable I’ve had hours of pleasure out of the humble ro-80, both by myself and with others when opportunity knocks.

Edit: Oops, I told a lie. The Finger Tingles I reviewed the other month came with another RO-80 included. Which means I’ve lost #4…. 🙁

Another Edit: It’s really interesting to note some of the responses that Peaches and Screams have already had. Most people are saying that their partner is their fave sex toy which apart from being barf-worthy (to a cynical old trout like me) is actually incredibly sweet and to be applauded.
