HABIT

Why small but achievable habits are the best way to build up a fitness routine and reach your training goals.

Setting small and realistic goals possibly set you up for achieving them. Going with something attainable and manageable enables easier working despite potential mental blocks that could come your way. For instance, going to the gym twice weekly is a more achievable goal than every day. Saying you can go to the gym daily is an overwhelming goal that might reduce your confidence and motivation. Consequently, you may drop out. But setting smaller and achievable goals can bring different small wins that will uplift your spirits and sustain you. In short, setting mini-goals that go with a pace that feels comfortable will inspire you to do more.

Using the acquired academic and professional experience, I advise patients with various complaints about mental health - depressed mood, nervousness, lack of energy and interest, sleep disorders, panic attacks, obsessive thoughts and anxieties, difficulty concentrating, and stress. In my free time, I love to paint and go on long walks on the beach. One of my latest obsessions is sudoku – a wonderful activity to calm an unease mind.
