The following are signs of a narcissist;
Shamelessly exploits others
A narcissist rarely associates with other people’s feelings. Putting themselves in another person’s shoes is a vocabulary to them- they lack empathy. They see others as objects at their service. They readily take advantage of other people to satisfy their needs. The main issue is their needs without minding how their actions affect others.
Often belittles or demeans others
If a narcissist encounters someone having a thing they lack, such as popularity or confidence, it is a threat. Individuals that challenge them are also a threat. The best way to feed their ego is by bringing such people down. They bully, insult, threaten, or name-call until they see the target in a position that makes them appear better.
Like being praised
Narcissists prefer consistent compliments. They want to connect only with individuals that will quench their thirst for affirmation. It results in a one-sided relationship whereby what matters is service to the narcissist by the admirer, not vice versa. Any alteration or diminished praises are treated as betrayal.
