Unlike other dating apps, Thursday is only operational on Thursdays. The good news is that you can match on the app or use it to get into the in-person singles events hosted by the company. What is even better? These events are open to religious groups, queer communities, and disabled daters.

Thursday is not the only organization encouraging in-person dating. We have also seen Match Group, through the dating site Match.com introduce Meet, a feature that will reduce online dating. Bumble has also joined the race. The company runs the Bumble Brew, an entertainment joint that allows people to meet up. Frankly, technology has changed the dating landscape. Online dating has made it easy for some people to find love. Even so, reports show men outnumber women in online dating- 52.4% men and 47.6 % women.
