OLD FASHIONED DIETS

OLD FASHIONED DIETS THAT YOU SHOULD NEVER FOLLOW

I strongly advise against following these old fashion diets as they might be harmful to your health;

The Cigarette Diet

A popular diet in the 1920s that emphasized people to smoke a cigarette whenever they felt hungry instead of food to limit their calorie intake. Though it can help you lower your foo and calorie intake, the cigarette diet can increase risks of serious health conditions such as cancer.

The Sleeping Beauty Diet

An unhealthy diet to promote weight loss common in the 1960s that encouraged people tom sleep more even when hungry. This diet can lead to a sedentary lifestyle and lack of essential nutrients hence among the old-fashioned diets to avoid.

The Tapeworm Diet

It entailed consuming more food without minding if its healthy or not as people were meant to believe ingesting tapeworms in pill form can support weight loss regardless of the calories you take. However, the tapeworms were linked to a higher risk of dementia, seizures, brain, muscle and eye damage.

The work of a family doctor includes a wide range of clinical diversity, which requires extensive knowledge and erudition from a specialist. However, I believe that the most important thing for a family doctor is to be human because the cooperation and understanding between the doctor and the patient are crucial in ensuring successful health care. On my days off, I love being in nature. Since childhood, I have been passionate about playing chess and tennis. Whenever I have time off, I enjoy traveling around the world.
