What “polygender” means as an identity

Polygender literally describes ‘multiple genders’. It refers to an individual who experiences several gender identities, say more than one; mostly three because one and two already have their descriptions.

What this can look like, and how to know if this identity applies to you.

Identifying yourself as polygender may arise from how you feel about your gender identity. You may realize that there is no perfect connection between your identity and biological gender as announced at birth. If you also feel like being both feminine and masculine.

Also looking for polygender people to share their own experience coming to identify this way and what it means to them.

I always think my non binary gender experience was the worst. I went through psychological oppression from my parents, schoolmates, and the entire society. Any form of bad character was linked to me in school. I remember one day my teacher told me to seek transfer to a boys’ school. I really felt embarrassed because she was shouting at me and other students could not stop laughing. I have been dismissed in various places, including my home. But I thank God today because after standing out, many people are trying to understand and stand up with me, even my parents.
