THE EFFECTS OF A HEALTHY DIET VS. UNHEALTHY DIET & EXERCISE

That focusing on a new study that has found that even if you exercise, you still increase your mortality risks if you eat unhealthy food.

1) What are your thoughts about the study/findings?

I think people should eat healthy besides exercising regularly to limit the risk of death caused by a sedentary lifestyle and poor eating habits.

2) What are your thoughts on the recommended high-quality diet and its link to longevity?

“A high-quality diet consist[s] of 4.5 cups or more of vegetables or fruit per day, two or more servings of fish weekly, and less than two servings of processed meat or less than five servings of red meat weekly.”

People should eat more healthily if they want to live longer. A healthy diet should have more fruits and vegetables to improve the body’s natural detoxification system and preserve more anti-inflammatory effects that reduce aging, keeping you away from deadly diseases. Meats and processed foods should be less to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and other chronic illnesses.

3) What are your thoughts on the extent of the benefits of exercise in the context of low diet quality?

Most people think they can outdo the impacts of eating poor by exercising heavily. In my opinion, while both habits can separately have tremendous health benefits, combining them is the best option to keep from death caused by cancers and cardiovascular disease.

4) Is there anything else you’d like to add? Please provide your name, full credentials, email, and professional website or LinkedIn account. Thank you!

Of course, yes. I would like to urge people wishing to change their lifestyle to make it gradual. Please avoid too much too soon. It helps calm your mind and focus on achieving your goal. Prioritize smaller goals to inspire other bigger ones.
