UNFLATTERING BLUSH MISTAKES

THE MOST UNFLATTERING BLUSH MISTAKES FOR YOUR SKIN TONE

I understand that not everybody can be a prowess in makeup application. But please note the following mistakes;

Adding cream on powder

Are you the kind who powders your face, then cream it? Well, doing this can be damaging to your general appearance. It can lead to a mixed up look. Why not pick one, either cream or powder? Use creams mainly on bare skin, not over a powder foundation.

Excessive product application

Using too much product can make you miss the actual outcome. It also renders use of blush unnecessary. You can use lighting to tell if your foundation is on check or not. I always recommend using a sheer and buildable applicators, including brush, and focus on applying with light strokes.

Applying the wrong finish or color

What determines a good blush for your complexion? As a rule of thumb; always avoid picking colors that appeal to you. Go for something aligning with your texture and skin tone. People with acne or pores should avoid glittering products as they may create attention in these areas. For colors, I recommend picking red or deep plums if your skin is darker. Lighter skin goes well with pink, and golden brown for medium-skin tone.
