Key skincare ingredients for anti-ageing

Retinol

Retinoids, including retinol are naturally occurring forms of vitamin A. Retinol improves collagen release that slows the aging process. It also raises the turnover process, which suggests faster skin cell-shedding. As a result, the skin renews itself, leaving it smooth without acne, wrinkles, or fine lines.

Vitamin C

Most skincare formulations contain vitamin C. The ingredients is filled with antioxidants that fight free radicals, which damage the skin.  But I usually emphasize on purchasing vitamin C products with opaque packagesthat limit degrading.  I recommend products like Skin Ceuticals C E Ferulic and Cosrx Tripple C lightening Liquid.

Face workouts

Fish face

Do you know how a fish puckers its lips? Yes, tightly suck your cheeks and hold for a few seconds. Do this 12-15 repetitions of 3 sets. It helps strengthen the cheek muscles, keeping them tighter for a younger look.

Chin lifts

Move your head up and back to stretch the neck. Take the lower lip over the upper, and smile for 8 seconds. Do the same 10-15 reps of 3 sets, and commit to do them thrice or four times every week for results.

Budget-friendly treatments to combat the signs of ageing

Chemical peels

Chemical peels entail eliminating the upper skin layer and remaining with the inner. It helps remove scarring, sun spots, and hyperpigmentation; factors related to aging.

Botox use

If you are looking to slow your skin’s aging process, I recommend taking Botox injection. It contains purified toxins that reduce muscle contraction, thus preventing fine lines and wrinkles on the eyes or face.
