TIPS FOR BURNING MORE CALORIES WITH CARDIO

TIPS FOR BURNING MORE CALORIES WITH CARDIO?

What tips do you have for optimal calorie burn while doing cardio?

Consider interval training

If you are looking to burn more fat with cardio, I recommend breaking your workouts into parts. For instance instead of doing cardio steadily, in continuous form, do them at intervals of 1 minute with rest in between. You can begin with 1 minute treadmill run followed by 1 minute high knees for half an hour.

Incline your workouts

Do you want to challenge your running, jogging, or treadmill? Try inclining the treadmill from zero to the next level or use a hilly neighborhood for your morning runs. It helps build muscle and burn more calories.

Are there any cardio/general workout mistakes that should be avoided?

Doing low intensity cardio

Low intensity cardio is good for strengthening and toning the heart. However, it may not give the outcome you are thirsting for, regardless of your frequency or volume. You may get in the ‘fat burning zone’ for hours but be sure it will waste your time because only fat will be utilized when what counts most is the total calories burnt.

Avoiding strength training

Strength training helps add muscle to your body can raise your metabolism even at rest. It helps burn more calories when sleeping or sitting. But avoiding it may not give the best outcome desired since your skin may become loose. I always tell my clients to commit to three days of strength training every week. Again, you can load more weight by wearing weighted vests or wrists weights for more gains.

The work of a family doctor includes a wide range of clinical diversity, which requires extensive knowledge and erudition from a specialist. However, I believe that the most important thing for a family doctor is to be human because the cooperation and understanding between the doctor and the patient are crucial in ensuring successful health care. On my days off, I love being in nature. Since childhood, I have been passionate about playing chess and tennis. Whenever I have time off, I enjoy traveling around the world.
