Why Some Relationships Are More Passionate Than Others

Passionate love is very different to other types of love such as compassionate love for example. Passionate love is a longing to be with another person and tends to be more prevalent at the beginning of relationships. The feelings one might experience can often be overwhelming as passionate love is often intense but fleeting.

Whether a relationship is more passionate than another is down to the individuals involved and their unique characteristics. If two passionate people meet then it’s likely the relationship will also be very passionate. If neither person is particular passionate then the relationship may be more subdued which is necessarily a bad things as passionate relationships can often be fleeting.

It’s not uncommon for passionate relationships to be very intense during the first few months and then it starts to calm down. The love and affection may change from passionate to compassionate love or fizzle out completely.  Passionate relationships are normally based on infatuation.
