Cinnamon
Adding cinnamon to your daily oatmeal offers steady energy levels for long and enhances blood glucose amounts. It also boosts metabolism by making the body utilize more energy for processing it, unlike other foods. Moreover, it is filled with fiber, giving the body a fuller feeling. This way, you feel less hungry, hence reducing chances of overeating.
I recommend eating cinnamon banana oatmeal with the below recipe;
For one serving use;
- Nonfat milk- ½ cup
- Eggwhite-1
- Nonfat cottage cheese- 1/3 cups
- Small mashed banana-1/2 cup
- Oats-1/2 cup
- Mix the mashed banana, milk, oats, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Microwave for 2 minutes
- Add the eggwhite and cottage cheese, then stir till it is fully combined
- Microwave for a minute.
- Continue stirring before serving.
