BREAKFAST HABITS TO SLOW AGING SKIN

1. Can what you eat affect how quickly/slowly your skin ages? Why/how?

Of course, yes. Your diet is a great contributor to how you age. A poor diet can accelerate your skin’s aging process resulting in wrinkles and dull skin.

2. Please list a few breakfast habits that could slow skin aging. For each one, explain how or why that particular habit works. (For example, if you say eating fruit, explain how antioxidants come into play.)

Substituting whole bread with white

White bread undergoes a process that gets out its nutrients, including the high vitamin B amount. It is the opposite with whole grain that goes through less processing, retaining nutrients that can decrease inflammation, a big enemy to aging.

Coffee with sweeteners

Adding sweeteners to your coffee regularly can negatively impact your skin. Sugar increases blood sugar and enhances unhealthy microbiome growth, which fasten the aging process. Why not incorporate veggies and fruits instead of sugar. If you must use it, please reduce the quantities.
