GUT MICROBIOME AND HEALTH

Is eating for my microbiome going to prevent cancer

According to my research, eating microbiomes can lower the risk of certain cancers in various ways. Eating for microbiomes increases healthy bacteria in the gut, improving absorption of resistant starch, increasing xenobiotics metabolism, facilitating the regeneration of epithelial tissues or cells, boosting mucosal integrity and overall immune. These activities prepare the body to combat any carcinogens, antigens, or tumor cells that can increase your cancer risk.

The gut microbiome- can what you eat affect your mood and stress levels?

Yes, consuming diverse microbiota can aid in lowering or managing your mood and stress. The gut microbiome reduces inflammation, a common causative of mood swings and stress. With reduced inflammation, your stress and mood swings can be alleviated.

How should I eat to support a healthy microbiome?

I recommend increasing your intake of fermented foods or drinks and consuming meals high in prebiotics, vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains, plant-based foods, and those packed with polyphenols.

Tell me what you know about the microbiome that you wish your patients would listen to

I would tell my clients to enhance care for their gut microbiome by taking the right foods, drinks, and supplements. Maintaining a healthy gut microbiota can go a long way in preventing many illnesses; a healthy gut translates to a healthy well-being and netter immune.

The work of a family doctor includes a wide range of clinical diversity, which requires extensive knowledge and erudition from a specialist. However, I believe that the most important thing for a family doctor is to be human because the cooperation and understanding between the doctor and the patient are crucial in ensuring successful health care. On my days off, I love being in nature. Since childhood, I have been passionate about playing chess and tennis. Whenever I have time off, I enjoy traveling around the world.
