Risk of Dementia

How Social Activities Can Reduce the Risk of Dementia

Studies show that making regular contact with friends, family members or neighbors prevents loneliness, reducing the risk of dementia. However, as a mental health expert, I strongly feel more studies should be performed to help us fully understand the relationship between social interaction and dementia.

How Much Time Should Be Spent Socializing

It is hard to say. No research reveals the exact time you should spend socializing to avoid dementia.

I am deeply convinced that each patient needs a unique, individual approach. Therefore, I use different psychotherapy methods in my work. During my studies, I discovered an in-depth interest in people as a whole and the belief in the inseparability of mind and body, and the importance of emotional health in physical health. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (a big fan of thrillers) and going on hikes.
