HOW TO USE PARK GYM EQUIPMENT EFFECTIVELY

The following hacks will help maximize park gym equipment;

Confirm the label or sign

Park gym equipment contain labels that give instruction on the correct use and safety guidelines. Others have QR codes with extra information and demo videos that can be helpful.

Cardio training tools

Cardio equipment may include air walker, bike, or cross trainer. For standup machines, such as air walker, start by holding the handles then step on the pedals with one foot at a timeand smoothly move your legs in clockwise direction. If you have to sit down, for example working out on a bike, take a seat and hold the handles as you step on the pedals. Then, cycle to exercise your legs and heart muscles.

Strength tools

I advise beginners to use fitness tool, such as self-weighted rower machine, pulldown challenger, and seated chest press. They give less work in pushing or pulling your body weight. Suppose you want the chest press machine, take a seat and hold the handles, aligning your hands with the chest line. Then, inhale and move your hands away from the chest followed by exhaling on returning them back towards your chest. Do this several times, 10-15 reps of 3sets, and it will be done.
