THE SHAME AND GUILT AROUND SELF-PLEASURE

THE SHAME AND GUILT AROUND SELF-PLEASURE

how we can unlearn sexual shame and embrace satisfaction!

While unlearning sexual shame can be difficult, it is possible. The tips below may be helpful;

Reflection

Start by determining what turns you on and your body’s emotional and spiritual desires. Do you have the correct answers? Always understand that you are your only lover. Think about what makes you feel pleasurable. Learn more about your desires, pleasures, and body in general. It may help know your actual feelings instead of depending on other people’s opinions, including friends and media, which are major outlets with sexual information that you may have learnt from.

Substitute guilt with pleasure

If you allow pleasure to take the place of guilt, the chance of freeing yourself from sexual shame is high. Start slowly by working your way to easing the guilt, and stay calm, but with a heightened mentality of experiencing sexual enjoyment. It may suggest intensely arousing yourself until you feel relaxed and sexually prepared. Doing this repeatedly with a mind that pleasure is greater than guilt can help kill or unlearn the shame because it is currently inspired by pure pleasure.
