VIRTUAL DANCE WORKOUTS

VIRTUAL DANCE WORKOUTS TO TRY AT HOME

Feel free to answer these or provide at-home workout recommendations. No need to provide both unless you want to!

Why are at-home dance workouts a legit workout?

It is due to the convenience of doing it from home and without any special equipment to achieve the fitness benefits involved, including improved mood and happiness. You can also dance from anywhere, especially with access to the dance moves, whether online or the ones you have mastered.

What type of workout is a dance workout? Ex. Cardio? Strength? Mobility? All of the above?

A dance workout is great for boosting cardiovascular health and burning calories. It also helps improve agility, coordination, and flexibility without forgetting muscle toning and strength building.

How often should people do dance workouts if they’re interested in gaining fitness, strength, mobility, etc.?

I recommend committing to three or four sessions of one hour each, every week.

Any safety considerations people should keep in mind with at-home dance workout videos?

I always insist on the following considerations;

  • Proper dance gear, including shoes and exercise attire.
  • Warm up before the main dance by stretching to prevent possible injuries.
  • Hydrate more and eat healthy.
  • Avoid overdoing it and ensure to get enough rest between sessions, between 12 and 14 hours.
