I was shocked after realizing that even foods heralded for their natural ability to fit healthy lifestyles can harbor an insane number of calories. Since this shocking discovery, I have worked with my fellow nutritionist to warn consumers about fake calorie labeling. We also unearthed specific foods with misinformation about calories, including;

Olive Oil

Olive is one of the best cooking oils on the market. Obtained from olives, olive oil maintains healthy cholesterol levels and boosts the immune system. Unfortunately, a teaspoon of the oil pumps more than 115 calories into your body. This can jeopardize your weight loss goals in the long term.

Nuts

Although nuts are loaded with proteins and plant oil, their calorie amount is dangerous, especially for people trying to lose weight. For this reason, I advise that you consume one or two tablespoons to keep your weight loss goal alive.

Spreads

Spreads including Nutella and peanut butter are common on our breakfast tables. Although they are rich sources of proteins, they are calorific. Do you know a teaspoon of peanut putter carries more than 60 calories?
