WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITS AND DRAWBACKS TO BEING IN A "THROUPLE"?

One benefit of being a throuple is the ability to try out a range of different sexual experiences. One partner may not like certain things but the other two individuals might. It allows more room for sexual exploration.

If children are involved a third person creates an extra pair of hands to help out with parenting duties. This can help to take the pressure off of parenting.

An extra income to add to the household. If all three individuals are working this adds more money to the combined pot meaning you could potentially afford a bigger house and have more money to spend on the things you love doing.

What unique challenges might a throuple face?

Everyone involved has to put in effort. If one individual isn’t prepared to put in the effort to make the relationship work it can all come crumbling down.

The individuals involved need to practice conscious throupling, meaning every needs to play their part and be involved in the relationship.

Throuples have become much more common in recent years — why do you think that is?

Throuples have undoubtedly always been a ‘thing’ however it wasn’t acceptable in the past for people to go public with it. Times are changing and unique relationship situations are becoming more accepted. Hence why we now here more about it.

What do you think are the most important things for a throuple to keep in mind/work on in order for their relationship to be successful and mutually happy for all 3 parties involved? The three people involved in the throuple will need to make and establish their own rules for the relationship. This can include whether they are free to have sex with other people, how date nights work, who sleeps where, who pays for what and how they share money.
