WORKOUT DRINKS

WORST AFTER WORKOUT DRINKS

I strongly advise against consumption of the below drink after workouts as it can have negative effects on your weight loss journey and overall health;

Processed sugary sport drinks

Most people tend to take energy or sport drinks after exercises as a way of replenishing the lost fluids and electrolytes. Though they can be effective in restoring body fluids, sport drinks are high in sugars and artificial sweeteners that add up your calorie intake slowing your weight loss process in the long run as the burnt calories are immediately replaced after working out. I recommend you drink coconut water as it increases hydration levels and replace the lost electrolytes to lower side effects of intense work outs like muscle pain and tiredness.
