DATING AS AN INTROVERT

DATING AS AN INTROVERT

Introverts may find dating as an issue because it calls for doing something they dislike. But the following tips may be helpful;

Preplan on the possible topics of discussion

An introvert may find conversations to be too much for them to handle. But if you think words may disappear during that date, I suggest researching about the individual earlier enough and create topics they will possibly find impressive to discuss. This way, you will be armed enough with information, thus lack of running out of words in conversations.

If the pressure is too much, plan your exit

Perhaps your date is a bad character and it does not impress you, find a way out. If you start being anxious, I recommend developing a good exit plan that will give more confidence in your decision. You can have a specific time and meet to quit. After the meeting, you should not be liable to any other commitment that follows.

Avoid complicating your outfits

Always stick to what you are used to. Anything unfamiliar and uncomfortable in the name of trying to shape your ‘abnormal character’ will only increase the pressure. Put on clothes you feel great in and goes with the occasion.

I am deeply convinced that each patient needs a unique, individual approach. Therefore, I use different psychotherapy methods in my work. During my studies, I discovered an in-depth interest in people as a whole and the belief in the inseparability of mind and body, and the importance of emotional health in physical health. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (a big fan of thrillers) and going on hikes.
