FOODS WHICH CAN AID LONG COVID RECOVERY

I highly recommend the following foods when looking to quickly recover from COVID and maintain a healthy body;

Consuming immune-friendly or bosting meals is the best way to support post-COVID recovery as they promote immune health and help you get back to your normal condition; I suggest you eat more foods high in Vitamin A, B6, C, B12, E, Copper, healthy fats, iron, minerals and selenium. To get these beneficial nutrients, include nuts, seeds, milk, fruits, fatty fish, meat, and green veggies like kale, broccoli or spinach in your diets.

Eating foods high in proteins and calories can also aid in recovery and replenish the decreased energy levels, a common side-effect of COVID-19. Consuming eggs, mashed potatoes, beans, legumes, fat dairy, avocados, high calorie smoothies, oranges, berries, and green peppers can provide the body with wide range of nutrients like proteins, zinc, vitamin C and increase your energy levels to support the recovery process.

Adopting the low histamine diet is proven to aid in recovery of long COVID which leads to production of histamine in excess amounts causing damage of the mast cells. Cutting out foods that can increase histamine levels such as wine, peanuts, processed meats, fermented fish, bananas and aged products can lower histamine intolerance, inflammation and quicken recovery.

I am deeply convinced that each patient needs a unique, individual approach. Therefore, I use different psychotherapy methods in my work. During my studies, I discovered an in-depth interest in people as a whole and the belief in the inseparability of mind and body, and the importance of emotional health in physical health. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (a big fan of thrillers) and going on hikes.
