In the 20^th century, sex before marriage was taboo. These restrictions no longer exist in the modern world. Today, young women take birth control pills to explore their sexual feelings freely. This gives people the freedom to make love without committing to someone, killing the desire of marriage. The modern-day culture of hooking up, friends with benefits, and one-night stands have further changed what we look for from a partner. With both of them making it easy to get sexual pleasure, marriage isn’t a thing we are so much into anymore.
