I recommend the tips below;
Exercise frequently
Regular exercise is significant for regulating blood pressure levels. If you have high blood pressure, exercising can reduce the pressure to safer amounts and the vice versa is true. I always advise my clients to exercise at least thrice every week using workouts of moderate intensity. You can develop a training program that lasts at least 30 minutes with exercises, such as, jogging, dancing, and weight lifting.
Eat a healthy and balanced diet
Diet is key if you aim at managing blood pressure. Foods like whole grains, low fat, dairy, fruits, and vegetables can help lower blood pressure. I usually emphasize on Mediterranean diet if you are not sure of what is best for your body. Furthermore, it is best to reduce potassium and sodium intake, which usually raise salt levels in blood and increase the risk of blood pressure.
Reduce alcohol intake
Excessive alcohol intake can increase proneness to high blood pressure. It is best to moderate your intake if you want to minimize the risk. For example, you can take less than two bottles and one, for men and women respectively. Drinking also limits the effectiveness of BP medications.
