LONG COVID – MOST COMMON SIGNS

Long Covid may be accompanied by the following signs;

Respiratory issues, including breathlessness and coughing

Victims with Long Covid may have problems catching their breaths and easily experiencing shortness of breath. It may occur to those that did not require hospitalization after contracting the virus. They may also have dry coughing caused by lung irritation.

Chest pain and tightness

One may have chest discomfort that lasts longer. It can feel like squeezing, pressure, or tightness in the chest. Some people may have pain radiating down one or both arms and others in the jaws, neck, and back. They may also experience low heart rates and become unconscious in worse cases.

Other symptoms include;

  • Joint pain
  • Smell and taste changes
  • ‘Brain fog’ that affects your memory and concentration
  • Excessive tiredness
