THE FUNCTION OF OUR SKIN AND HOW MUCH SKINCARE WE ACTUALLY NEED

-The skin performs various roles, including;

  • Reducing moisture loss
  • Temperature regulation
  • Offers a protective barrier against external impacts
  • Sensory organ for temperature and touch
  • Produces vitamin D

Perhaps you have the best skincare regime for your skin. But do you know how much is too much or too little? Well, I have a few tips on the quantities to use. Please have a look;

Serum

Serum application aims to slow down aging or repair the skin. But how you use it is key to achieving the results. I always recommend a 5p-size blob. Less than that may sluggish the outcome. Again, too much may irritate or harm your skin.

Eye cream

Most manufacturers make extremely concentrated eye creams. I prefer using tiny amounts to achieve what I want. A pea-size spread is enough to avoid eye irritation and health problems.

Moisturizer

If you have dry skin, adequate moisturizer can transform it and boost your complexion. The best amount is a coin-size, and rub it down the neck.

I am deeply convinced that each patient needs a unique, individual approach. Therefore, I use different psychotherapy methods in my work. During my studies, I discovered an in-depth interest in people as a whole and the belief in the inseparability of mind and body, and the importance of emotional health in physical health. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (a big fan of thrillers) and going on hikes.
