Ways Men Can Work Through Sexual Shame

Write Down Your Thoughts

Admittedly, journaling is the easiest and best way to understand the source of your negative thoughts. By doing so, you can develop strategies that can starve them off.

Try self-stimulation

Self-stimulation, a.k.a masturbation, is the key to feeling good during a come-down period. When you orgasm, your body releases feel-good chemicals like endorphins that boost your mood. Masturbation also allows you to learn more about your body. When your partner has the information about what makes you get off in the bedroom, there is a good chance you will enjoy sex in the future.

Talk to a Loved One

Talking to a loved one is another good way of moving around sexual shame. Opening up and sharing your feelings or emotions about sex can really make you happy.

Seek Professional Help

A therapist can also help you understand the source of your sexual shame and guilt. Best of all, they will suggest safe and effective ways of moving around negative emotions.

Sleep specialist

Using the acquired academic and professional experience, I advise patients with various complaints about mental health - depressed mood, nervousness, lack of energy and interest, sleep disorders, panic attacks, obsessive thoughts and anxieties, difficulty concentrating, and stress. In my free time, I love to paint and go on long walks on the beach. One of my latest obsessions is sudoku – a wonderful activity to calm an unease mind.
