THE BENEFITS OF JOURNALING FOR MENTAL HEALTH

 Why does the activity boost our mood?

Journaling is a mood booster because it gives the chance to prioritize your concerns, problems, and fears. Recording and tracking your everyday triggers can help get better methods of countering them. Furthermore, you can determine negative actions and thoughts and get an opportunity for talking positively about yourself.

Can the process be beneficial for stress and anxiety?

Of course, yes. I always recommend journaling to my clients because is a great stress-management equipment. It can lower emotional distress, anxiety, and may elevate your well-being because writing down your feelings helps get a clearer understanding. As a result, you can gain better control of the feelings and enhance your mental being.

What should we write in our journal, and how often?

I recommend the tips below;

  • Be consistent by writing in your journal at least every day.
  • Sketch or right what you love by being free in expressing your thoughts; worry less about spelling issues because it is your private belonging.
  • Be simple; you can have the journal on phone or ensure the pen and book are more accessible for writing all the time.

I believe that nutrition science is a wonderful helper both for the preventive improvement of health and adjunctive therapy in treatment. My goal is to help people improve their health and well-being without torturing themselves with unnecessary dietary restrictions. I am a supporter of a healthy lifestyle – I play sports, cycle, and swim in the lake all year round. With my work, I have been featured in Vice, Country Living, Harrods magazine, Daily Telegraph, Grazia, Women's Health, and other media outlets.
