DRINKS THE LONGEST LIVING PEOPLE ENJOY EVERY DAY

Most of the people in blue zones or with a longer lifespan take the following drinks daily;

Tea

Herbal teas like Okinawa’s and green tea are popular drinks among people living in blue zones. Tea is high in catechins and polyphenols that exhibit antioxidant properties which prevent diseases by fighting free radicals, regulating cholesterol, stabilizing blood pressure, and enhancing cell division. All these benefits of tea prolong your lifespan.

Water

Water is essential for living longer and helps the body eliminate toxins, maintain normal blood pressure, transport air and nutrients, balance body electrolytes, hydration, flush the whole system and boost metabolism. Drinking enough water daily can improve how the body functions, increasing your lifespan in the long run.

Red Wine

Blue zoners drink moderate amounts of wine to increase their living days. Wine is high in antioxidants such as resveratrol which promotes heart health and boosts the overall immune.

Can what you drink make a difference in your lifespan (positive or negative)?

From my experiences, what you drink regularly has an immense role in your lifespan. Consuming alcohol, soda, sugary or sweetened drinks, vodka, and other unhealthy beverages increases your risks of infections and detriments overall health lowering your lifespan.

Regular intake of water, tea, black coffee, and red wine provides the body with essential nutrients and minerals needed for a longer lifespan.
